Central Vietnam’s collection of world-class clubs has been burnished by the arrival of Hoiana Shores. Located just south of the UNESCO-listed town of Hoi An, the course – already rated by many as the country’s top track – is an absolute gem. The Vietnam debut for Robert Trent Jones Junior, the layout sees the legendary golf course architect on top form. While the course plays close to the ocean it is as reminiscent of the classic heathland courses of the UK and Australian sandbelts as it is to traditional links.
